Blessings for the Season!

The Annandale Food Shelf has had lots of great changes. A light pole was installed in the front parking lot. The Food Shelf applied for a grant from Wright Hennepin to cover costs and we were pleased to have received a grant which covered 90% of the costs. This light will provide greater visibility and safety for our clients.

During the same time, Peterson Electric installed an EV Charger near our side main door. The Food Shelf will be buying an EV Van in 2023. Wright Hennepin again blessed us with a grant to cover the 100% of the cost of the EV charging station. We are working on grants for this purchase.

And the blessings keep coming! We have an outdoor freezer that needed expensive repairs. We let Wright Hennepin know about the cost of the repairs and they were very generous for some of the freezer repairs.

We are so grateful for the amazing support that the Food Shelf has received.
